Tiers
S Tier: The best of the best champions for the current patch. They are pretty viable picks for now, and a good player can easily unleash havoc on the enemies.
A Tier: They are not the very best of the best but they are still good picks. They require a good sense of the game and the character to play well and carry the game.
B Tier: They are not absurdly broker, and neither are they pretty strong. But a player must have a great game sense and knowledge about the champion to play well with them.
C Tier: Do not pick them, at all.

S Tier
Champions in this Tier: Zoe, Vex, Yone, Kassadin, Katarina, Diana, Yasuo, Irelia, Akali
Zoe

Zoe is one of the most powerful midlaner right now in the wild rift. She can easily outplay her opponents with wit and by picking up summoners’ abilities from the ground. She can also dish out a ton of damage with her abilities and is one of the best picks for this patch.
Vex

Vex is one of the most unique champions to play in the game right now. She has a good and powerful kit to outplay her opponents. With a huge damage potential and combo opportunity to back that up, she is one of the most viable picks for mid lane right now in the game.
Yone

Yone is one of the most versatile mid lane champions in the game. He is a very powerful champion because of his sheer auto-attack prowess and his presence in the lane. Also, he is a very good champion for putting pressure on the sidelines. So he is a very good pick for mid lane this season.
Kassadin

Kassadin is a mage-type midlaner who can really carry the game after reaching a certain level and completing his build. He is unique because of his ultimate reset and can dish out a ton of magical damage with his other abilities. He is a very good pick for this season.
Katarina

If a player can actually play good Katarina, the champion is one of the most annoying champions in the game who can easily get in a fight, one shot the backline, and get out. Tho she requires a ton of practice to master, she is a very strong and viable pick for this season.
Diana

Diana is a strong mid lane champion, she can also be played in the Jungle. She can deal a ton of damage with her combo and also her ult can be used as a team damage dealer. She can counter high-damage laners in the game.
Yasuo

Yasuo is one of the most famous champions in the game. He can dish out a lot of damage with his auto-attacks and can easily melt down lesser champions. He can also block most of the projectiles in the game and can deal combo damage with the champion who can knock up enemies.
Irelia

Irelia is a fun champion to play as she tends to move around from target to target and is very hard to catch and deal damage to. She can easily melt down champions who have less health and armor. She can be picked up very early in this season.
Akali

Akali is one of the most fun champions to play in the game. Her outplay prowess in the game is remarkable, and she is a very hard champion to tag and deal damage to. But on the right hand, she can literally carry the whole team and win the game single-handedly.
A Tier
Champions in this Tier: Galio, Jayce, Akshan, Corki, Gragas, Zed, Oriana, Fizz, Fiora, Twisted Fate
Galio

Galio is a very fun champion to play with as he can fill the team’s support champion role and deal hefty damage to laners. Galio’s abilities are set up in such a way as to deal much damage to the enemies while maintaining a shield from incoming damage as well.
Jayce

Jayce is probably the most versatile champion in the game. He can be played as an ADC but also can turn into an auto attack-based melee champion. His abilities can disrupt enemies and also can melt down opponents. He is a very good pick this season.
Akshan

Akshan is the newest addition to the mid lane pool in the game. He can get in and out of any situation and deal damage. He can also revive players in his team by killing the opposing team’s champions. This ability alone can change the pace of the entire game.
Corki

Corki is one of the few champions in the game that can deal physical and magical damage. He can deal consistent damage and can disrupt the enemy team pretty easily. Corki is a very viable pick to play in the mid lane this season.
Gragas

Gragas is a melee midlaner who can deal a ton of magical damage with his abilities. His abilities synergy well with each other and his combos are devastating for single targets. He can also build tank items and tank the team’s damage. He is a very good pick for this patch in the game.
Zed

Zed is probably the most badass-looking and infamous in the game for the ‘Faker Play’ in the PC version of League of Legends. If anyone can play zed properly and utilize him, he is a force to be reckoned with. His insane damage output and the combo are second to none. But he is very hard to master.
Oriana

Oriana is a pretty good pick for the mid-lane currently. She can deal a good sum of damage with her abilities and also can give shields to allies and to herself. She is also easy to pick up and play for anyone. She is a very viable pick for this season.
Fizz

Fizz is one of the most consistent damage-dealing champions in the game. He can deal a hefty amount of damage with his abilities. He can also dodge enemy attacks and abilities using his ability. But he is very hard to master and is not very beginner friendly.
Fiora

Fiora can be played as a mid-lane bruiser who can carry the game if she gets the proper lead. She can heal from her auto attacks and can block damage from enemies using her abilities. She is a viable pick to play and carry games this season.
Twisted Fate

Twisted Fate is a champion who is heavily relied on his abilities and auto attacks to deal damage. But he is a pretty squishy champion and can easily fall off in the late game if not properly played. He has a global ultimate that can really help his team in the game.
B Tier
Champions in this Tier: Ekko, Ziggs, Aurelion Sol, Lux, Annie, Veigar, Brand
Ekko

Ekko is a champion who is very hard to master. But the catch here is he doesn’t do as much damage as other champions with his type of skill ceiling. His abilities can disrupt enemies and deal damage. But he falls off in comparison to others.
Ziggs

Ziggs has always been a weak link in both the ADC and mid-lane roles. His damage output is not heavy, and he falls in damage to some very shabby laners. The only feasible use for Ziggs is that he can take down turrent pretty fast and easily so he can work as a side lane pusher in the late game.
Aurelion Sol

Aurelion Sol has always been a weird pick for the game. He does little damage, and his laning phase is also not that good, which falls off drastically in the late game. Aurelion sol needs a huge lead and a tremendous amount of teamwork to be viable to play in the game.
Lux

Lux is one of the weakest midlaner you can play right now in the mid-lane in Wild Rift. She can give a shield and disrupt enemies. But also she can fall off pretty drastically in damage and is very hard to catch up if the opponent advances.
Annie

Annie is one of the weakest midlaner in the game right now. Her damage is pretty easily reducible building magic resist only, and she needs to activate her passive every time she needs to do damage and execute enemies. So she is not a very viable pick right now.
Veigar

Veigar is a pretty shabby and linear champion in the game. You have to farm a lot with him in order for him to be viable in the game. So the game needs to run a long time if Veigar needs to be playable. Veigar can also be played as a support, but he has only one ability which can actually help the team in a team fight.
Brand

Brand is a champion with a huge damage potential. But the main problem with brand is that all of his abilities are skill shots that are most likely to be missed by players who are not accustomed to him. So he is most likely to be underestimated and thus falls off in later stages of the game.
C Tier
Champions in this Tier: Sona, Kayle, Tristana, Seraphine, Varus
Sona
Sona is more likely viable as a support rather than a laner. She is pretty squishy, and her abilities are more focused on helping her allies rather than dealing damage to opponents. So she is not actually a good midlaner.
Kayle

Kayle is still a viable pick for the toplane. In the mid-lane, she falls off because of the range difference and for the sheer fact that her kit is more built towards toplane.
Tristana
Tristana as an ADC is still a viable pick in the game. But as a laner she is pretty weak and needs to be spoonfed so that she can only survive the lane. Her damage output considering a midlaner is also very low.
Seraphine

Seraphine is more likely viable as a support rather than a laner. She is pretty squishy, and her abilities are more focused on helping her allies rather than dealing damage to opponents. So she is not actually a good midlaner.
Varus
Varus was a good midlaner in the previous patches. But in this one, his damage fell off drastically, and he is not considered a viable midlaner now. He can be easily outplayed and killed in the current state of the game.
