Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade is a new game that Ubisoft announced set in Ancient China. It features “classic” Assassin’s Creed gameplay and takes place in an open world, but it is a mobile game rather than a console release.
For years now, Assassin’s Creed has been one of the best game series for PC and Consoles in the entire world. They’ve tried to put their mark on handheld devices with Assassin’s Creed: Unity, But it was not that successful. So now they’re back in it with a new release for mobile devices named Codename Jade.
Assassins Creed Codename Jade Trailer Breakdown
It was revealed as a part of the Assassin’s Creed showcase on 12th September. The game takes place in ancient China, much like a traditional Assassin’s Creed game. Here you can do awesome parkour tricks and get some bloody and gore-filled assassinations. The game will also allow players to customize their player models for the first time in the game series history. Recently a Twitter post was released related to the upcoming game by Ubisoft.
In the trailer, we can see the signature Assassin’s Creed eagle flying over ancient China in 215 BCE. Then it passes over the royal palace and then to the busy streets of the downtown. It ends its journey over The Great Wall of China, where an Assassin is seen on the ledge of a part of the wall. This signifies that the game will be set in ancient China and have all the core elements of any Assassin’s Creed game. Tho this is just a teaser, the full fletched trailer will break down the gameplay even more.
No gameplay was shown, but an in-engine trailer did reveal what we can expect Codename Jade to look like, and it’s promising. In fact, it doesn’t look too far off a last-generation Assassin’s Creed game. We also learned today about three new mobile games coming to Netflix’s gaming platform from Ubisoft, including another Assassin’s Creed mobile game.
