Tower of Fantasy: All Simulacra, Weapons, Traits Explained

Tower of Fantasy is a new open-world sci-fi RPG game published by Level Infinite. Hotta Studios, a Perfect World subsidiary, is the game developer. The game is set in the far future on the planet “Aida,” contaminated with potent radioactive energy called Omnium. The game takes place at a time when Omnium destroyed the planet. Players explore and roam through the sci-fi world of Aida, fighting monsters as they advance through the story.

On their way to explore Aida, players will experience an immersive sci-fi environment. The anime-inspired graphics and aesthetics also catch everyone’s eye. Tower of Fantasy also supports a co-op play where up to 4 players can team up to play together to explore the world, complete general or multiplayer-specific missions, or fight world bosses. Players can also challenge each other to duels in open-world combat through the PvP feature of the game.

Throughout their journey, players can equip several weapons to fight the creatures in the world of Aida. These weapons can be available in different forms, including Swords, Spears, Hammers, Bows, etc. Tower of Fantasy also introduced a new concept of Simulacra. Simulacra are the weapon-characters, each with its own ancient history.

There are a total of 15 simulacra available in Tower of Fantasy. The concept and difference between simulacra and characters might initially seem a bit complex. But if you pay good attention, you will understand the concept very quickly.

Difference between weapons, simulacra, and characters.

The difference between characters, weapons, and simulacra might initially seem a bit complex, but in reality, it is simple. To understand Simulacra, you need to know about Simulacrum.

‘Simulacra’ and ‘Simulacrum’ might sound very similar to you. But both concepts are very different. The Simulacrum is the place in Tower of Fantasy from where you can buy new weapons. But there is a twist in this marketplace, and here you need to buy the characters equipped with that weapon instead of traditional weapons like swords, guns, etc. Each weapon in the simulacra comes with an unlockable character. The abilities and playstyles of the characters are also unlocked alongside.

The weapon characters are basically what is called the Simulacra. Besides a few base weapons, almost all the weapons are equipped with a character. But the weapons can be equipped by other characters as well.
So, to describe the whole thing in short, players cant buy traditional weapons from a marketplace like most games. Instead, they need to unlock a weapon that comes with a Simulacra. Simulacra is just a way to unlock new weapons in Tower of Fantasy. Once the weapon is unlocked, the characters are nothing more than skins.

Tower of Fantasy: all Simulacra, weapons, and traits explained

According to ancient lore, Simulacra is the consciousness of ancient heroes that have been saved till now by Artificial Intelligence. These simulacra are directly transferred to new characters whenever they are equipped. So whenever someone equips the characters, they can summon the simulacra and take the ancient heroes’ form, personality, and abilities.

Simulacrums are distinguished according to their levels. Two levels divide them: SSR and SR. Each Simulacra has two unique traits of its own. Traits are the passive abilities of each of them which are awakened at certain awakening points. Once the Simulacra reaches 1200 points, it will unlock the Simulacrum trait, and getting 4000 points will upgrade it.

The traits only work for each Simulacra only if they are unlocked. Players can unlock the traits by completing character stories and giving the Simulacra their favorite gifts.

We are describing below all the available Simulacra in the game according to their levels.
