Mortal Kombat is one of the most successful Fighting Games out there. The game was first released in 1992 and was developed by NetherRealm Studios. And it soon grew as one of the best Fighting games, with an immersive story to follow.
Mortal Kombat mobile games couldn’t see the light of success. The Fighting Game genre in the mobile game community is relatively weak, so Mortal Kombat X was not a good hit on the mobile device. But NetherRealm Studios is not giving up that soon. In collaboration with the infamous Warner Bros Game Studio, it has announced a new Mortal Kombat game called Mortal Kombat: Onslaught.
In this article, we will discuss all that is leaked about the game for now. So sit back, relax and enjoy the read.
Mortal Kombat: Onslaught
Mortal Kombat: Onslaught is a mobile RPG featuring a cinematic story set to arrive in 2023. Onslaught will feature a vast roster of Mortal Kombat characters that players can collect and unleash against enemies in real-time group battles.
It’s being made by NetherRealm Studios and will only appear on mobile. Promising the first cinematic story experience on the platform, players will fight to stop a dark and dangerous threat from wreaking havoc across the realms.
President of Warner Bros. Games David Haddad reiterated the goal to tap into new markets and reach new audiences. “Mortal Kombat is a legendary franchise and pop culture phenomenon, and it continues to engage players and advance the fighting genre across multiple platforms,” he said.
A new website was also launched, though it only features a newsletter sign-up page for those eager to hear more about Onslaught.
