The honor of Kings is a multiplayer online battle arena developed by Timi Studio Group and published by Tencent Games for iOS and Android. The game is massively popular in the Chinese mainland and has boasted hundreds of thousands of players.
The Devs on the game have recently announced that they would release a new PvP fighting game based on its IP called Codenamed Breaking Dawn. This will be a game more like the popular game “Smash Bros” or “Brawlhalla”.
The game will be a PvP platform-based fighter game. This type of game is getting very popular nowadays. So all the major developing companies release one of their own now and then.
Honor of Kings: Codenamed Breaking Dawn
As part of the 7th-anniversary Livestream of the popular MOBA game Honor of Kings, Tencent has announced a new fighting game. The game will be based on the MOBA’s universe and will be added to the franchise called Codenamed Breaking Dawn. The game is expected to be as hit or better than its other counterpart, a Moba game.
The Devs have announced on their official Weibo page Honor of Kings. According to that, Codenamed Breaking Dawn is currently in the works and is planned to be part of the next set of games that publisher Tencent Games and developer TiMi Studios will release. The upcoming game will be an online PvP game wherein players will face each other to fight until one wins.
From the announcement, the characters in the new game will be from the Honor of Kings franchise but will be entirely different and have no relation to the original game. The official trailer shows the game characters traveling through time and space to fight each other.
