Blizzard Entertainment recently implemented the AFK penalty system in Diablo Immortal, which means players will be penalized if they stay AFK during the game.
Diablo Immortal is the latest MMORPG game for mobile developed by Blizzard Entertainment. It is the first mobile installment of the famous Diablo franchise. The game also shares a lot of common features with the previous edition of the game.
Blizzard is well known for prohibiting its players from idling in the game. As a part of that effort, the developers also implemented this system in Diablo Immortal through the October patch.
Here is the information that you need to know about the AFK timer in Diablo Immortal.
How Long is the AFK Timer in Diablo Immortal
Diablo Immortal has a long AFK timer of 30 minutes. This means the player will be disconnected from the game after 30 minutes of being idle. Although, players will still be vulnerable to attacks even when they stay idle in the game.
Players will receive a warning for idling in the game, which mentions, “You have been consistently idle and are at the risk of receiving a penalty. Please consider helping your teammates.” This warning will stay on the screen for a while before the player is kicked out of the game.
Players will receive several penalties based on the number of times they commit this. The first time, they will receive less or no points for the match that they have idled in. Again, for repeated offense, players might also get restricted from playing the game.
