The purpose of Genshin Impact has always been to kill as many meddling creatures as possible. Slaying those pitiful Hilichurls, pesky Fatui, or miserable Ruin Guards in legions is a player’s bread and butter in the game. That is why DPS characters are the most popular in Genshin Impact.
These characters simplify RPG min-maxing and leveling. The competition among these top candidates is intense when it comes to being a DPS in Genshin Impact. Because each character has unique powers, they are the primary damage dealer of the party. Damage dealt is mainly from the character being on-field, whether it be Normal or Charged Attacks, or Elemental Skill or Burst.
With the latest 3.0 patch being released, players could be confused about choosing the best DPS characters in the game. Hence, we have compiled this list for you to see through and better understand which characters may be best suited to you.
Genshin Impact Best DPS Characters Tier List
This tier list is based on DPS, so some characters in the lower tiers may be in the higher tiers for other roles, such as sub-DPS or support roles. While you may not find some familiar characters anymore as they are not suited for the DPS role, or there are better options now.
Tier S – The characters in this tier are the best DPS characters in the game and deal the highest damage. These characters easily become core party members.
Tier A – Characters that excel in their roles but do not push the boundaries regarding Talents and Constellations. They can be just as good as S-tier characters with the right equipment and player experience.
Tier B – These characters deliver strong performances in their respective roles as DPS characters. At times, it can be seen that these characters work better in specific party configurations.
Tier C – They have the least combat ability and are the lowest amongst all DPS characters, and you may find better alternatives to these if you wait for some time.
